Ben Caplan just floored me

OK so I don’t know Ben Caplan or have any association with him whatsoever. I was looking over the Halifax TED schedule and noticed his visage as I’ve seen him around town. so I followed a link here and another there and I found this:

BEN CAPLAN – Stranger from Mitch Fillion (southernsouls.ca) on Vimeo.

passion is a life force. by following my own passions I have arrived where I find myself today (nowhere to brag about but certainly closer to somewhere in a daydream).

nevertheless, as I listen to Ben belt out Stranger, alone on a piano in a nowhere bar with just a few oldtimers present, I felt a tear creep into my eyeball and my hair stood on end like summer wheat.  Ben has passion to burn! I must go and see him at a live show as soon as I can.

Dear Mr. Caplan. many many thanks.
